139 屋久島音楽記「木霊」"Kodama" - Musical log of Yakushima

もののけ姫に出てくる「コダマ」は、漢字で書くと「木霊」なのです。
　これは宮崎監督の創作だと思われていますが、実は日本の森や神社では、ときおり木霊を思わせる光の珠が写真にうつることが知られています。なかでも白谷雲水峡で撮った写真­には、目のような黒い点が入ることが多く、これがコダマのデザインのモデルになったのではないかという説もあるようです。
　コダマたちの集いに、想いを馳せて。

@nrgardenia Hi. I have went to Yakushima three times. I really love that forest. Off course there also be beautiful sea and heart-warming hot spring, but I strongly recommend you to go into the deep forest(Tachu-dake and Tenchu-Seki is my favorite). Have a nice trip!

YAY!! I can actually read most of the stuff in your description, not that i can understand it all, but yeah. i can mostly readthe hiragana cause i'm not so good with katakana and kanji yet, but we watched this movie plus howl's moving castle and nausiica of the valley of the wind in my Japanese class at borah, so sensei taught us how to write mononoke hime, so i recognize that. ありがとう!!!!!!!!!!!
