This is defiantly the easier way.Fruity filter sometimes only fade one sound/channel
-
To add the effect to only one instrument. At the mixer instead of right clicking on the knob the master volume has at 1:08, You right click on an insert volume which represents a certain instrument. Everything else is done the same way.

Question: say im playing the piano and i want to fade the last note of the melody before it picks up into another one how would i go about doing that?
-
@captaincoconut27 you have to create an automation clip for the single channel and if you want to ad more channels just right click the channel> link to controller
-
@captaincoconut27 Go into your mixer and under one of the "inserts" to the right of your master volume right click on the part that says "inserts" then link with selected channels.
After this you can left click on the volume slider and create an automation.
