Toad eats mouse

Kitty (the name of the toad) eats a small mouse.

*Disclamer*

We were in no way involved with the toad eating the mouse. We were filming the toad in its natural habitat and a mouse just so happened to be walking by. It is unfortunate the mouse had to die this way, but in a wild setting like the one in this video, it is the natural order of predator and prey. For those of you who cannot come to terms on this reality, I suggest you do not watch the Discovery channel.

@1997Roscoe . It is a feeder mouse. You can get them at pet shops to feed to snakes (or toads). I DID hear the mouse squeak and yes, it was awesome. Kitty is a standard, run of the mill American toad. There is nothing special about him except for the fact that he is quite large and he ate an entire freaking mouse!

@kiashadowwave. The mouse definitely died, but the toad lived for about another 6 months. He was so special to us that we preserved him in a jar of alcohol and he is still sitting on my desk right now.

Shove your disclaimer up your ass. You could have fed the toad a humanely, freshly killed mouse but no, you had to be a wanker about it. This is not a wild setting, this is a toad in fucking captivity with a human feeding it. That isn't natural at all. Mice are not even natural prey to them.

Toads eat mice. They eat anything the can catch really... it's natural.. things die.. they get eaten... stop being pretentious babies thinking that anything other than life and death is not morally ok.
