I took a shinkansen (bullet train) to Hiroshima, where the first atomic bomb was ever set off, killing thousands instantly and destroying the entire city.
While in Hirosima, I visited the A-bomb Dome(原爆ドーム) which was one of the only buildings to survive the bombing while the rest of the city was left in ashes.
Today, Hiroshima has been completly rebuilt, but its inhabitants still suffer from affects of the nuclear bomb and such memorials stand as a reminder of the horrors the war brings.

Thanks for this video! It has a an interesting minimal aspect that still allows spare emotional content to come through - existential and a bit dreary with a couple light moments which is how I felt about the Hiroshima experience.
