This is what happens when silly people try to interpret medieval iconography without a clue.

This is the video to which I am responding:

  • i think the argument that this type of iconography is really common is let down by the fact that you haven't been able to show any other examples??....

  • @thesunreport Medieval Byzantine iconography is full of this stuff. I'll PM you an example. Also note the images are a fiery red ball (on the left) and a crescent shape (on the right). Sun and moon.

  • Wait until Acharya S. gets a load of this.....I smell another heavily researched and copiously sourced tome called "Attis, Aliens, and Anal Probing: Christian Origins Pulled From Where the Sun Doesn't Shine".

  • maybe you also have an explaination for getting pregnant without sex?! looking forward on that one^^

  • FINALLY!! Someone else says there's no stick shift.

  • In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

  • @labarum312 ..thanks for that...it was a good image...you should have ripped it for your video, as it explains your argument well!

  • The video has a sort of 1970s documentaries, training films, films shown in high school science class, porn feeling to it. Yes, unfortunately, I know what 1970s porn looks and sound like.

The "angels covering their faces" may also owe something to Isaiah 6 - he sees the Lord, "high and lifted up", with seraphim attending on Him; they "cover their faces". A link between that, in the depiction of the Crucifixion, where the Lord is "high and lifted up", on the throne of the Cross, would be very natural.

"Spaced-out" moderns might not think in that way, of course.

"This is what happens when silly people try to interpret medieval iconography without a clue." Oh, no, please !

If you could see yourself @2:44

If only the historians of Serbian Orthodoxy had told us more about the space-ships of the Serbians; they must have sold them to the Ottomans, for the Ottomans could not have defeated them otherwise. Unless of course parts of Istanbul are in fact disguised motherships, as in "Independence Day" ?

That of course explains the purpose of impalement - it was really anal probing, taught by the Martian colonists who settled in what later became Assyria (which is why the Assyrians used it.) IOW, man is from Mars. (Cue looong tome "proving" that OT religion is borrowed at second hand from that of Mars, which also colonised (where else but) Atlantis. Naturally, the USA is the remains of Atlantis.

There must be something no one could possibly believe
