Funeral for a Friend

The instrumental intro from "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" by Elton John. This is a one from favourites song by Joe Elliott from Def Leppard, as he says: "Funeral for a Friend" still gives me chills." I dedicated it to Steve Clark, a late friend of Joe. RIP Steve.
P.S. All four remain Leppard was on Steve's funeral.

@joeelliott1994 Wisewood Cemetery is in Hillsborough, Sheffield. The grave is situated close to the entrance. As the road drops down from the entry gate, keep to the left as it splits into a Y. Follow the edge of the path and keep looking towards the left. His grave is just a few rows away from the road.

@jemhadarsoldier  i was watching mtv that day and they played back to back videos, and then mtv news

came on and showed a pic of steve and said that he had died i was very sad and my sister had asked me why

and i told her. i will never forget you steve, your playing guitar with my friend from the band slaughter tim kelley.

god has the two best with him miss you both.

@tvd1981~ Hey, you should've included "Love Lies" too... Steve was in love with alcohol. He had a relationship with it... and IT LIES... and alcohol killed him dead!

Alcohol is not bad.. not at all. But if it makes you addicted, RUN FOR THE HILLS, away from it. I, personally, like it. It helps wind me down sometimes; BUT I cannot touch weed or cocaine or vicoden anymore. It is too powerful for me.. the addiction, that is. Everyone's chemistry is different. Peace.

@ClassicMusicGirl I remember the day he died, I was driving, just got in my car and turned on the radio and the station was playing leppard song right after another and i was like "wtf?" because normally the stations don't play back to back songs from a band unless the band is in town, then after "Women" the DJ said these words "Thank you for listening to our tribute to Steve Clark who was found dead today..." I was very upset. My favorite guitarist had died. That day was 01/08/91

What I truely admire about DL is they reallystuck by & supported Rick Allen & they also stuck by Steve to the very end trying to help them in any way they could. If Steves dad could of just told steve just 1 time good job son I'm really proud of you just maybe he would of had more confidence in himself and would be with us today. His dad was a royal asshole from what I seen & heard.
