"Never Enough" by the band Baby Grand (pre Hooters) with Lyrics

Before Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilian formed the band The Hooters, they made two albums on Arista Records with their band Baby Grand: the self titled first album, and "Ancient Medicine."

Both Rob and Eric appeared on Patty Smyth's first solo album "Never Enough" featuring the very popular title track. What many do not know is that this song actually appeared on the first Baby Grand album.

The two Baby Grand albums are long out of print and have never been "officially" released on CD. So for all you Hooters and Patty Smyth fans, here is the original version of "Never Enough" written by Rob Hyman (keyboards) and David Kagan, the lead singer of Baby Grand.

Great songwriting is an unusual beat and lyrics but most of all a melody that sticks in your head. Baby Grand was vastly underrated and I love their cover of "Walk Away Rene".

One of my greatest guilty pleasures of the 70's.

Saw them live at a county fair in Riverhead, NY in '78 supporting Ancient Medicine. They were incredible, have been obsessed since. For those interested, there is a GREAT live recording they did on a long defunct but universally beloved local NY radio station (WLIR) floating around on the net. Look for it - it's Baby Grand Gold! Thanks for posting!! Really!!!
