My Grandparents were from Amite county and my grandfather drove Jerry Clower to school on his schoolbus. My aunt Mildred Causey Campbell lived across the highway from his place near East fork. I loved that man!

Did he run his mouth like that when he was a kid? lol

A friend of mine thought the funniest thing she'd eve heard Clower do was the sound effect of the rattly old truck - "BLOP ba-BLOP ba-BLOP ba-BLOP!" :D

Rest in peace, Mouth of the South.

erm problem is grade school simple...sad but true...when you dont like yourself you attack someone else to deflect the fact that you are not what you want to be. Jerry was a very funny man and a good Christian. And everyone please pray for erm as he truly needs Christ in his life. The death of anyone is a sad day and a reason to morn. Rest in peace Jerry

crude? ill have you know he was a christian man whos humor u could not call offensive to anyone! he was a good person and true patriot as well as my hero and his passing still hurts!

This guy was so funny... I used to love to hear him do the "role call" of the Ledbetter family...

The fact you are happy over his death because you don't like his brand of humor speaks more about you than it does about Mr. Clower.

If you don't get the humor, that's fine. If you don't enjoy his material, that's also fine. But being a dickhead is not.

I dread to see the kind of humor you find enjoyable.
