@nikyabayadera Es la musica de una época que ya paso, arrastrada por la guerra de 1870 y que acabo con las insurreciones de la Comuna de Paris, en 1871.
El exito de Waldteufel fué muy breve en Francia, y si acaso hubiera marchado a Inglaterra o Estados Unidos hubiera conseguido una fama mundial. Su musica procede de influencias populares. Esta enterrado en el cementerio del Pere Lachaise, en Paris.

I think this is probably my favourite Waldteufel waltz. Such a pity it has the 'throw-away' title of Tres Jolie!. No matter, I love it no matter what it is called.
