top comments are true enough. But think about it like this when you base movies based purely on video games they turn out to be pure shit. Take lotr games for example they are pure SHIT! Now the res evil games are great and always will be but the movies are not quite based on the video games also take in the fact that the movies came out later than the beginning res evil games were released which means ppl were not making movies based on video games and games based on movies and so on.

@Thirst4Fire serious man. Remember when the rumors first started that Hollywood was be doing an RE movie?? And that before Constantine films(a German company) picked it up, that George A Romero had a script, based off the first game's story, ready to be filmed?! But they elected to go with the tired, 'Aww we can't go with a story that the audience knows. So let's add a character that has nothing to do with the series and make it fresh.' Money talks and shit walks...

@Thirst4Fire yea I may have bias when I said that, cause I loved Prison Break. Also thought it was a bit ironic that Wentworth was also in prison in Afterlife... It doesn't mean he's gotta look like the character to a T... no pun intended...

i think the cast info might be a bit off, as Wesker was pretty dead even at the cellular level if you take in mind the bomb that was on his osprey. pretty much guarantees that he won't come back. i would expect Chris and Clair to be back, unless they are totally skipping the scene where all the ospreys converge on the boat, which looks like it would be a beast fight scene to me.

@Thirst4Fire im a resident evil die hard fan i fucking love resident evil, i would still love it if they put in bloody teletubbies and i dont care about some ratings, i know u have ur opinion but milla is a great actress and she works very hard in making these movies, so come on cut her some slack.

@IcePickSnowmanzzz not all movies that follow the game are shit. Watch Hitman. That's a perfect example of a script and an actor/director who've played the games and follow the game not Hollywood's idea of the direction...

@moviemetalhead Chris has always been one of my favorite characters, so I can honestly say this guy was the wrong choice for him by far. Hope they reboot the series on film, get rid of you know who and recast the characters. Josh Duhamel from Transformers would be a better Chris in the reboot.

@zTooMucH Make Resident Evil what it is? Resident Evil was what it is for 6 years before she came along. I think they can manage. To this day, the games (which don't have her) are still doing great overall and the movies are sucking - just check the ratings. Well, just like you who has the right to like what you like, don't you think I have the right to not like what I don't like? Ask everybody else why they watch vids and give their honest opinion even when it's negative.
