I have recently become obsessed with the song Lillium from Elfen Lied. Now I'm no Latin expert so I messed up a little a bit, but I really liked how this sounded so I didn't want to redo it. I'm also going to upload the english version of this song.^^

@AmreeTakahara you do realise this isn't "Lilium" right? This is the Elfen Lied version which is wrong, the original Lily Pond has the right pronounciation and the right Lyrics you missed out "fons boni tatis Kyrie" before the Idnis Divineand you missed the second "O quam sancta quam serena quam benigna" try singing the real one, but all in all it's vaugely good also try in a lowwer octave and don't strain your trichia, use your breath and diaphram/abdomin more, proper voalists understand this x

First off, Lillium is the name of this song. It says so in the credits of the anime. You are probably thinking of another song called Lillium. 2nd, yes I know my pronunciation is off because I don't speak Latin. I sang this when I was 14-15. I'm 20 now, so my voice is different. But thank you for your critique. ^o^

You do realise that you have no idea what you're talking about, right? You can't say "right pronounciation" because there aren't any recordings of the Romans and there are several ways of pronouncing Latin words (I hate the English way, btw). Though yes, I can say that her pronounciation is plainly wrong at times. And: not "boni tatis" but bonitatis. The dative of bonitas. Not idnis but ignis.

@AmreeTakahara Your performance is great!!!, for your pronunciation don't worry... for speak a good latin you need to have a good italian in first.... I'm italian and here we start to study latin in middleclass....and it's hard for us than is normal that is more hard for you. 2nd Nobody know really like spoke Latin people, indeed my Prof. said: the world reads the latin in a conventional way, but probably is not correct.
