Day Laborer Shot in LA, riots ensued after

Day Laborer, mostly likely an illegal immigrant, shot in LA. Riots ensued shortly after. 22 were arrested. This occurred on 6th Street in the LA district of Westlake. The person arrested was drunk and carrying a knife. He was harassing passersby.

in my city, & from what i hear throughout the US, white, young, middle class yuppies have moved into what used to be the hood's or barrios, the black & brown folks have moved out into the edges of the city-whats funny is the cops in these used to be hood's and barrios continue to act in the same, savage, nazi-like manner- & we've had a string of cops getting caught on video & pictures beating up these yuppies who thought they had rights- pig supporters change quick when it happens to them

@iamleyend2 You NEVER use a gun and shoot for extremities -- that's what less-than-lethal options are for. When you use a gun, you shoot for center mass. At least twice. And you make sure the threat has been completely incapacitated. Drunk people are surprisingly hard to incapacitate..alcohol is a painkiller, and just because he can't walk doesn't mean he can't still attack officers trying to arrest him. What if the bullet shattered a bones or joint? That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Completely justified shooting. Good riddance to the immigrant. The world is a better place without you running around threatening to kill someone with a knife. As usual, you made a decision you were free to make, and you faced the consequences for those actions.
