I agree...You kick butt playing slap, but the way you recorded the video does not do full justice to your playing. Could use better sound...and PLEASE turn on the lights!! It is WAY too dark! Awesome playing nonetheless...

You should consider micing your amp with a decent microphone, because your great playing is being overshadowed by the quality.

hey alex,love your playing..i take it that mark king was a big Influence to your style,except your playing is very relaxed and very gentle but still powerfull where mark is quite aggressive to get the same results:maybe not aggressive in say the louis johnson style,how do you get the attack you do without having to beat the crap out of the bass.lol..i also guess light strings? 40s,35s maybe?? thanks

@ridgebackdk Hi, thanks very much, i would say the key is to stay relaxed, and a low action, i do use 40-100 strings, which are medium gauge really.
