  • just wondering...why do you mousehole (or whatever) a pipe and then pick another pipe out of the mousehole (or whatever) and then screw into the first pipe and then make the splice? it seems couterproductive to me....but thats me. is the first pipe like a saver joint or what?

  • its so you are not making a connection on bottom yet you keep burying the working single.

  • First off yes its called a topdrive, second off a 90' mousehole would be stupid we do it in less than 3 mins of pump off time so why bother?, third ST-80's are for girls real men use tongs..

  • good vid boys keep it

  • Maybe you need them in the US but they would never fly in Canada. Oil companies would not drill in Canada if there were unions.. Unions are COMMUNIST ways that have destroyed the US AUTO industry don't let them do it to the Oil patch..

  • you are fucked up unions will kill the patch!!

  • Great to see all the boys still working hard out on 57.

  • ya, i had figured that out after watching it again. hey, if it works!! I'm used to Supersingles w/ a pipe arm. mind you they stop for about 20-30sec to make a splice. I think i like that better than what these guys are doing.

  • real men use 24 inch pipe wrenches. NO GLOVES. jp :D
