@MXLMICS how about one of those XLR to USB converters? I recently bought 2 MXL mics. Haven't arrived yet though. Can't wait.

The sound quality in these MXL demos is beyond belief! THAT'S the sound I'm looking for. Crystal-clear, upfront, and... as someone put it, "beefy". But - can I really give the rest of the credit belong to the MXL mic? Or, is the sonic quality equally due to the pre-amp? The acoustic environment? The wizard doing the engineering and mix down? I don't think just buying an MXL is going to give me what I hear... here. So, what do I REALLY need to get THIS from an MXL?

i need a mic with a good high end i have a dark baby bottle and i had a mxl 990 but i want the 990 sound just more sensitive and warmer

@NewMoney90100 akg p220 it is a god condenser mic, but ill rather go with the akg per. 400, but if your budget is low, yea get the 220 its a good mic, for vocals, just make sure you have a good mixer/amp/interface, and a decent software that offers a good sound quality when exporting to mp3/wav etc =)

To use this with your computer, you will need a USB interface. Something like:
an M-Box, or an M-Audio interface. Check online at Musicians Friend or a similar store.
