  • @DoctorEeam Yes, that's the word: Greatness.

  • Thats greatness. Thats McGlaughlin. One of the worlds greatest musicians is humble and gracious man telling it like it is about music. That's rare in that industry. I was a circus performer when I met him after a show he had just done where I had a front row seat & he wanted to see me do a thing. He offered some food because It was dark & cold. It was a shock to suddenly have him wanting to be my audience cos I was 19 at the time.and was blown away just because he was talking to me.lmao

  • "We were all tripping." Right on John. Can't wait to see him live again. I might just dose this time.

  • "Lilah's Dance" at 7:34!!

  • I am 57 and in the early seventies I have discovered John's music. He blew my mind then and he still blowing my mind today with this great album...For me he is the greatest musician alive. Look how honest he speaks and what kind of a gentlement he is. When I first bought this album and brought it home I listened to it 3 days straight. Each time I was listening I was hearing new themes, would like it more and more, Great musicians. I loveu You are my biggest inspiration, period! You are the ONE!

  • I've helped myself on this. After some serious investigation I had success.

The track is Five Peace Band from the album Floating Point. Thank You me.

Hope this is helpful to someone else.

  • Good to hear John talking about the album.

Does anyone know the track playing in the background. Not from To the One unless its a completely different version?

  • "Smooooth jazz, fuuuunky jazz"

  • really good to hear him talk about jazz that way, something I've been thinking about a lot. Especially after watching Ken Burns' Jazz
