  • What happened to the original blade?

  • One of the wings came slightly loose and the fan wobbled significantly as a result, it would have seriously shaken right off the desk...

  • No, Lasko, I got it at True Value

  • nice the new blade looks good

  • I have one of these fans which I use under the desk at work...never have had any problems with it in 3 years of using it everyday. It's also good for taking along traveling due to its compactness.

  • Oh sure, how about you watch me blocking your dumb ass

    You're just a waste of Youtube's bandwidth

  • Does this have the shaded 4 pole PSC motor? If so, that is the GOOD one to have. The newer ones use a c-frame motor that is absolute junk.

  • I have this and the newer one, and let me tell you, the newer one is a pile of junk, the older one is better. But both of them don't work as well. :(

  • I had a 14" Patton fan that did that a long time ago. All the blades were loose. Rivets weren't tight at all...when the fan would spin down, you could hear the clickity clank sounds from the blades on the rivets.

I finally replaced it with a Dayton blade...and what a difference that was...in both air movement and sound.
