Well, actually every popular slasher movie is inspired by Ed Gein, although he wasn't a serial killer with that much victims.

The Sawyers had the craziest family throw 1,2,3,&4, compared to the Hewitts. They also have alot more members too, but the Hewitts are a more "realistic" family.
