Take a scenic tour of Humboldt Redwoods State Park and learn a thing or two about why California State Parks are worth preserving. While the entire $70 million wasn't cut, the Parks can still use all the help they can get.
Most of my facts came from www.parks.ca.gov (the official Govt site) which hasn't been updated in a bit. Some of the numbers have changed, but you'll get the gist.
