Get Weather On Your iPhone's Lock Screen

In this video, I discuss a cool tweak for your jailbroken iPhone. This application is called Katra's Weather HD and it allows you to customize your iPhone lock screen to display the current weather in your city. It's fairly simple to install, but requires knowledge of SSH and terminal commands in order to customize the weather location. The results of this labor gives you a very attractive image of the current state of the weather on your iPhone lock screen. The video really won't do the image justice. It's a really clear picture, HD in fact, of the sun, moon, clouds, whatever the current weather is along with the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. If you have already tricked out your iPhone, add Katra's Weather HD to your list of customizations, you will not be sorry!

this is a very cool app but im disappointed that no replies on how to change the city. requirements: 1. jailbroken iphone 2. katra's weather hd installed 3. winscp (pc install) 4. plist editor (pc install) how to: 1. ssh to iphone and goto /private/var/stash/Themes.Sk5z­B8/Katras Weather HD.theme/private 2. right-click "configureMe.js" to edit with plist editor 3. on var locale = "boston zip" change it to your zip 4. close plist and save 5. reboot iphone (to be safe) 6. enjoy!
