You have to look at it as an artistic point of view. Hicks had a message of peace, love and intolerance to corrupt ideals. Leary is the complete opposite. He steals the jokes that are less potent and makes them more enjoyable to the everyday sheep. He took Hick's least controversial ideas and made them dumb.

The way Hicks talked to his audience was stolen and the exact tone of Leary is like that. Leary and Hicks were friends until he stole. The comedy community knows this, ask Ari Shaffir, Joe Rogan, Doug Stanhope, and so on.

Hicks was hurt so bad when Leary stole, its just the fact that he stole and did not admit it. At least Carlos Menstellia did.

Ah, I see, you don't want to acknowledge the many examples I gave. Its common sense. Your defending a man that has to steal to put on a show while Bill was a man that was genuine and did not care. Thats common sense, the whole comedy community knows that Leary stole, its not just a opinion your right, its fact. The jokes are exactly alike and Bill did them first. Leary took Bills jokes and bastardized them for the dumb public.
