Longboard skaters competion part 3 are now more Extreme which means more extreme techniques off of Ramps. Half the viewing is from the top of the hill looking down and viewing top of hill ramp jumps. Surface condition - Wet, paved and ~13% 2 part down hill slope. The experience of boarding "In my opinion, as a flat board rider during my youth ranges from intermediate to expert. Be sure to watch the first two videos (part 1 and part 2) with same title, but different subtitle this day in Salem Oregon. The boarding is more extreme in the 3rd segment as winners will be decided who will compete for the final prize. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay to video the final 10 competitors. I had to leave for another appointment. I refer to this type of boarding as LongBoard Downhill Drifting. They (skating world) on the other hand will correct me through their, and other comments on the techniques and style of boarding seen in the video with the correct boarding terminology. These are very cool videos to watch and I will attempt to follow more of this type of activity. The road was closed off to traffic and appeared to be well coordinated within the neighborhood. In this video, ramps have been added to the skating challenge . The ramp at the top of hill seen in the last 5 minutes of this video was there from the start. During the last 5 minutes I stand at the top of the hill advantage point for your viewing. My hats off to the parents. Good job and way to bring community and kids together.
