Why are they creepy? It's 911, the american version of 999, following from the previous graphics of SOS...

yeah, the 911 graphics are a little eerie.. especially when they fade off of the stage screen at the very end.. one of the "1"s sort of disappears leaving the other "1", when it too disappears.. creepy... a lot of people have also commented that her song 'Oh Superman' has a lot of eerie lyrical references that can be compared to 9/11..

we have all this sound and video technology made so easy now but no one so interesting to watch use it. i met laurie anderson and she shook my hand and spoke to me for a moment and that's one of my favourite moments in my life. she inspires! cheers to all the above comments and the person who took the time to put this up.
