PLEASE SEE THE UPDATED VERSION OF THE SHOW HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8C1ZhWUWRU

This week sees the release of Game Damage, a new gaming TV show written and presented by an unholy trinity of Yahtzee Croshaw (of the Escapist's Zero Punctuation), Guy 'Yug' Blomberg (of Australian Gamer) and Matt Burgess (of Australian Gamer also). It's new, it's (hopefully) entertaining, and it needs your help.

The 23-minute show available at www.gamedamage.net is a pilot episode to stir up interest. Game Damage represents a new face of gaming media; fronted by three proven individuals with a genuine love and enthusiasm for games, it combines light and squashy gaming humour with a delicious crunchy centre of reviews, previews and 'discussions' on the many facets of the subculture (read: shouting arguments).

But creating a series with this level of professional quality (ha ha) doesn't come cheap, and if we're to live the dream we need all the exposure we can get. Gamers, non-gamers, come one, come all to www.gamedamage.net, watch the video, browse the site, join the forums and tell us what you think. We promise to at least pretend to listen.

  • Yahtzee was good, though maybe a little overboard with the deadpan. The other two read the bland, unfunny script like kids standing up and reading to the class.

  • @williamthebrit

    Too much zero punctuation

  • I have never before seen a man look more miserable..

  • Mr Croshaw, are you trying to seduce me?

  • I wonder who, if anyone, won that bag of party mix...

  • God, Yahtzee is just brilliant. He should do gaming themed stand-up, no?

  • I don't think it's bad. Just new. I mean..take LittleKuriboh for example, the maker of Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series, or even DBZ The Abridged Series. At the beginning the voice acting was pretty off and it seemed very home-made. Now, though, look at those videos. They seem like a lot of work went into them, and the actors, as said before, fell into the roles. I'd like to see what could come of Game Damage.

  • Aww, Chief doesn't have any money.

  • It wasnt that bad really, just heavily unrefined. If this ever DID manage to make it off the ground, I think they would settle into the roles nicely, and develop a nicer flow and overall polish.

In fact, this was a lot better than most gaming programs. Shame it never went anywhere :/
