Greg Hopkins demonstrates how to make an inexpensive worm composting set-up at the Maui Farmer's Union public meeting in Pukalani. Greg uses a lot of kitchen scraps and "no nos" (items that are not normally given to worms) but he explains why he uses them. Very informative. This guy seems to know what he's talking about when it comes to vermicomposting. I like that he emphasizes not to let the bins heat up by building too high. I've been using 30 gallon rubbish cans with great success.
