  • i don;t like it . sorry

  • Try more salt...:) For being naseaous.

  • Hi Kelly,

You look great! Your face looks thinner. Hope your feeling a little better since I spoke with you. I made copies of the things that I thought might be helpful to you and put in the mail. There are a bunch of different recipes and they give to the protein value. The nausea could be because you are hungry - get that protein in because it makes you feel fuller longer. Talk to you soon! Dina

  • i ditto journey2betrhealth... careful with the gum cuz i had a very bad experience with it on the plane going to the east coast meet up.. ugh! never again!

  • Yes, I agree about the gum comment!!! I was warned to stay away from it for the same reasons. Although I am a DIE HARD gum chewer. So I SUCK on half a piece of gum if I really need it. Just DO NOT SWALLOW it, and try not to chew on it because it pumps air into your tiny pouch. Not good. I have the same issues getting in protein and water... I also have the isopure.... yeah not too good tasting I agree. Wish I had more advice for you... but I am newly post-op myself so it is all a mystery.

  • Hi Kelly!! Its Nicole. I had no idea you were having surgery! That is so awesome. I cannot wait to see how you progress!

  • Also, I noticed you are chewing gum. It can cause air in your new pouch (maybe contributing to the nausea ) AND it is a serious potential blockage if accidently swallowed (sorry that's just the nurse in me coming out).

    Donna:)

  • Let your surgeon know about the nausea. I didn't suffer from it but I was sent home with meds for it. It will pass in time. It's important to get your fluids in...dehydration can make you feel nauseated (and light headed) too.

I love the Syntrax Nectar protein powders. They are juice-like drinks, low in calories and fat but high in protein. My favorite flavor it Fuzzy Naval. Sip all day long! Donna:)
