@parabellumdude one reason could be that the Tassimo is single serve, no coffee pot and filter to wash out...

this is hilarious. I can boil up a pot of hot water and pour it thru a paper filter setup with spending a bundle on that useless machine. I had one, got fed up and gave it away, then got a Keurig. The Tassimo is ridiculous to try and clean, esp if one of the milk pods "explodes" which they do at times. Get a Keurig! Better yet, there's hotel supplier that makes a super one-cup brewer for $30!
