@Heyabong Also, Schumacher seems to focus only on particular aspects of the discussion he is proposing, being blinded by -perhaps- his will to make noise in any way it's loud, even if that includes stating erroneous theories and concepts. It's such a pity that this kind of person gets so much attention, instead of someone truly concise.

I guess it is such an ignorant point of view to state that an architect, or anyone, does not have to use a word or engage in a particular transdisciplinar discussion. I believe in that because we are all complex beings and only because I am an architect does not mean I can't be interested in other subjects. However, I agree with ReviewyourChoices75 when he says that Schumacher uses a language he doesn't undertand, and I'd also say that Schumacher is a very limited theorist.

"Ontology" is integral to an architects thought process.(study of existence: the most general branch of metaphysics, concerned with the nature of being) If we did not do this we would have no idea about what the right way to build is for the 21st century. and dialectical is integral also, " Diversism" where individualism flourishes is great although universal values are integral to society cohesion.

Cheers, mythicalness! I think you got to the root of the problem. I have actually had the honour to experience P.S. live. It appears he uses a philosophical language he doesn't understand. There is absolutely no need for architects to talk about 'ontology' (!) and 'dialectical oppositions'.
