John Berry - Your Love Amazes Me

The Lord Jesus has blessed me with getting to meet some real "stars" in my estimation: Alan Sheppard, a few days after he became the first American to be "in space", George Jones, when he was just becoming known, Dottie Rambo, before "Tears Will Never Stain" was released, Rusty Goodman, Mark Lowry, when he was 12, Rhonda Vincent - the only 7-times recipient of the IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year award, and, on July 20, 2007, John Berry. On that day I recorded this video, using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 camera. I admire John because he has his priorities in order, and does not let the fact that he has the finest tenor voice in country music inflate his self-esteem. After performing, he stays until he has fulfilled the last autograph request and held the last baby for a photo. "Your Love Amazes Me" was a number one song on the charts for John. Personally, what makes John unique for me is that I have never heard him sing a song I did not want to hear him sing again.

This guy is soo great. He was supposed to come to my state back in the 90, but it was round the time he had to have surgery on his voice. I think that was it. I don't remembered. And he had to canceled his show, but somebody came in his place. I was soo sad. I wanted to see him in concert and he hasn't really been back to my state. I love this song. Great clip.

Thanks! The day I made this video (last July), he told me that his early works, which he sold as cassettes out of his car trunk, would be released as a CD boxed set this year. I can hardly wait! He told me I may be disappointed, but I doubt it.

Hi, haven't heard anything about that on the fan club forum, I will post about that later,Have his latest, Those Were The Days, good , but my favourites ,if you can have a favourite ,as all Johns cd's are a testament to his amazing voice, are ,Wildest Dreams , and ,Saddle The Wind. He has had 3 dvd's released recently, but I would love more cd's released. Cant get enough of his stuff.

John is the best he comes to Kalamazoo evry year and stays 2-4 hrs afterward greeting everyone. New years eve 2000 he was about to sing this song and i proposed to to my wife and john saw me and had to stop singing because it was the anniversary of his engagement to his wife , when he finished the song he had my wife and i come up on stage and dance to the next song. was one of the best moments of my life.... thanx John

Unreal voice. I got to see him do his Christmas concert. And I saw him live about 97 or 98. What a great voice. And the poster of this video is spot on. He will sit and talk to you like he has known you for years. Very nice man.
