2:10 Moses warns Israelites about Jericho: Deuteronomy 9:1 "Hear, O Israel. You are now about to cross the Jordan to go in and dispossess nations greater and stronger than you, with large cities that have walls up to the sky"
***BUT just two verses later in Deuteronomy 9:3 Moses reminds the Israelites that God is with them and they will have victory (with fire) - "But be assured today that the LORD your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the LORD has promised you."
2:25 God tells Joshua how to conquer Jericho by marching: Joshua 6:1-5 " Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in. 2 Then the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in."

3:45 The collapse of Jericho happened around the year 1406 BC: 1 Kings 6:1 "In the four hundred and eightieth year after the Israelites had come out of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, the second month, he began to build the temple of the LORD."
King Solomon reigned as king from 970-931 BC, and it is known that his temple he made for God came to be in the year 966 BC.
As 1 Kings tells us, this happens 480 years after the Israelites are freed from Egypt.
966 BC +480 BC= 1446 BC
But then you must Subtracted the 40 years that Moses and the Israelites spent in the Dessert.
1446 BC - 1406 BC = 1406 BC = The year that the collapse of Jericho took place
