Note: I don't really use the nunchuck to demonstrate the advanced techniques, rather the Classic Controller, which we know is almost the exact same as the GC controller.
Think SSBB is just using one move, dodging, one move, dodging, and a repeating process? It is WAY more complex than that. In fact, this is probably the most complex game there is worldwide! If not, one of them.
Trust me, these advanced techniques are hard, but still possible. Once you learn them, you may become a much better player than you were before, but of coarse everyone knows not immediately. Pros always use them!
Some people do know about advanced techniques, which is why I added comedy to this video.
Personally, I liked the fidgity and last part a lot.
Did you know it took me 2 hours to edit this video? Some of you may not be surprised. (^_^)

  • Sorry this one's currently unavailable, please try again later XD !!!

  • Yeah. (^_^) What would we do if that technique didn't come into existance?

  • Sam-moose?

    D:

  • Yeah, I know.

  • Excellent show there, Xcat. Edge-guarding is a critical technique to master as it can be the key determinant in winning a fight - you've seen that first hand when fighting me.

You provided a very comprehensive video outlining most of the advanced techniques. Dash-dancing is useful, but it's also sometimes important to use it sparsely, as in running toward your opponent and then away, sometimes causing them to unleash an attack and giving you the chance for a counter offensive.

  • Yeah, thanks Rain!

And actually, I already knew the edge guard since I was close to retiring in SSB Melee.

  • What's your Wii Number and Brawl Code?

  • Actually, the classic controller isn't really classic, but a knock-off the PS3 controller. Notice the basic layout in the front view is exactly like the PS3. The only things different are the button names, and the L1, L2, R1, and R2 buttons are put in different places than the PS3s.

  • dey killed da dash dance in brawl cuz ya character will trip if u dash excessively
