This is a brand new song I just wrote and I thought I'd get it online before I go on my spring tour. This goes out to all my fans of Poulet Shack.

Everybody got to hear the bearded lady sing
This side show has got everything!

Jakeleg Chester and Bootleg Sam
worked at the carnival but they had a plan
Saturday night when the tent was full
They would rob the carnival
They would grab the cash and jump the train
Never come back to this town again
Hide in the bushes till they hear the bell
Grab the cash box and run like hell

The bearded lady was still singing her song
When the Mississippi freight train came along
Jakeleg Chester grabbed the cash and ran
as Bootleg held a gun on the ticket man
They ran for the tracks but they missed the rail
and the dog faced boy was still chasing his tail
stash the cash or pay the cost
so they hid it with the bones of the union boss

When the sherrif came around looking for the dough
I hid that money in my bed roll
I left that town without thinking twice

Thanks! I often ask for people to provide chords for us slowpokes who cant figure them out. I love finding videos to play along with. It's a lot of fun and a good way to learn. I wish more people would throw in the chords when they post a uke video.
