You know, as much as I love this track, it's always been really hard to listen to it. I loved the doco about Tim some time ago. It's really hard because sometimes, as tough as I can be, it's genuinely hard to stop tears forming in my eyes. I guess this must be something to do with that blind bloke playing, right? Damn. It would be an HONOUR to play with this gentle soul. I mean really. I'd rather it than Bono, to be UTTERLY HONEST WITH YOU. Thanks for putting these up.

Off topic, researchers believe that Isaac Newton (probably) and Albert Einstein (possibly) had Asperger's Syndrome as well.

I consider my self very lucky to live nearby.
And to have Dereks Permission to post the videos.

I feel truly honoured to live just down the road from the guy. An amazing human, living in a town where no-one is anywhere near as beautiful as he.

No, I was in the pub and he happened to come up in conversation, I never knew he lived in so close! Only now have I found more out about him and its astonishing! Can I find listings of gigs on Derek's website?

Hi theterrible1, what a great way to find out about Derek! Great local music, Great local pub and we are there.
The Jazz Katz gigs have not been mentioned in advance on Dereks website. I don`t think there will be another till next spring? I first found out when I happened to read about the Jazz Katz in a local paper last spring.
