Pracchiola is situated between two rivers. One being the Magra and the Verde, better known here as il Rio. I should know, I live in Pracchiola. Il Rio is at the beginning of the village and la Magra is at the end of the village.

It's the Magra river near the small village named Molinello on the north of Pontremoli. In this feature of the river, the mayor Ferri, many years ago, wanted to make a dam for electrical production, but the idea has been refused from one popular consultation.

that's normal for them.. once I got into a finnish lake in summer at first i felt good but i came out completely red and shivering for 10 mins .. finns came out white as a wall as usual.. :-D
