  • @GregWantsYou08 That part is technically not part of the Hail Mary, it is an introductory phrase (usually said while doing the sign of the cross) that can e used before any prayer.

    Not sure but I think it would be "Je _te_ salue, Marie" rather than "je _vous_ salue". From what I'v read, prayers usually use the "tu" forms. Counterintuitive, I know--you'd think that addressing God (or in this case, his Mother) would be the ultimate "vous" situation :)
