Forgot to replace the flight battery between flights and to keep an eye on the voltage (upper right corner). The result of which can be seen at the end of the recording.

  • Because it ran out of battery charge and so the radio receiver just shut down.

  • Yup, a 3 cell lipo. I know, I should have set a visual and audio trigger at 10V. I'll do that before I take it up again.

The plane got compressed, misshaped and cracked in two places but it should be fine after a couple of hours of work.

I don't think lipos explode unless they get too warm. I was a bit afraid that I wouldn't be able to charge it again but it charged just fine. I managed to put 2259 back in to that 2200 battery so I guess it was pretty empty :)

  • So why could it not be landed? I don't do FPV to know the obvious.

  • was that a lipo battery??

not good to go below 10 volts..9v is explosive time.....did the battery puff??

gotta get a bigger battery or a separate one for controls..

nice vid..hope plane and fpv is OK..

  • That sucks! Hope the damage wasn't too bad. Nice footage up until the crash though.
