NAh, i actually believe it's really Thom singing, except probably deliberately trying to alter his voice. he did say so himself that sometimes he hates how 'pretty' his voice can be..
Ed's voice is deeper anyhow, why he's got most of the lower harmonies when singing live (or does falsetto for higher ones)... at 0:32 and other parts you can really tell its Thom
