The answers are not in the bible. As a matter of fact you would have to be incredibly unintelligent to believe a 5000 year old book. You are no different then those that believe the world will end 2012 just because the Mayan calendar ends.

@flowerpotproductions That is where the very cutting edge of theoretical physics lives. We can with some certainty say that we understand what the universe looked like mili seconds after the big bang based on a few things like the background radiation of the universe. We do not how ever at this point have any observable evidence for what happened before that. So everything before what we can observe is relegated to theoretical mathematics and physics.

Yes maybe the light shine on ignorance everywhere : )Prometheus, Dionysius the fans, liberators of humanity. The Vegetation Gods of Earth and the Queen of Heaven, Lady of the Rib.Celestial bodies has man not followed their path since the bright shinny things came down from the Heavens. A sacrifice burning their potent fire to show us the way? Hueman, the chosen fashioned from the old and new by Progenitor from Divine kingship family of Gods/Terrestria/HyperD entities long long ago Elohim.

@sheky24 in science, the word theory means a testable model built on evidence that can be used to predict and explain phenomena. it doesn't mean "guess" like most people use it in everyday language. it is much stronger than that, especially the big bang, which is supported by a mountain of evidence. :)

@xXxLoveFighterxXx but what if the bible is wrong?

does anyone know what song that is?
Actually, "Big bang theory" was quite clearly said. And I believe it is the only theory on the table right now. Hoyle's steady state universe is probably not believed by anyone past junior high. The quantum tunneling hypothesis is still pretty new, I believe. Brane theory posits two branes "bumping," but that is pretty esoteric at the moment. It's a huge topic that goes largely beyond what our brain has thus far developed to handle. The LHC will get us a little closer to understanding it all.
