  • I'm worried this is too subtle for right wing morons. They can't do subtle. They can do Adam smith, and Clarkson, and racism and such. But they can't do subtlety. I love you Owen, but I'm worried this is too subtle.

  • Ha Ha. Great video. Can't believe i paid for that dude's dreadlock. I demand a rebate!

  • @confettihipster That's because he is.

  • That was my copy of the Daily Mail that you nicked.Commie bastard.

  • He is from Stockport what a socialist shithole. I know lets tax more and pay these layabouts more. Fucking CUNT

  • No doubt when he grows up he'll be a tory

  • Brilliant.

Owen is the sharpest, sexiest, cutest and by far the most shaggable Socialist in the World.

    *sigh*

  • Funny stuff - although he might have given The Daily Mail some ideas lol

  • This isn't subtle: it's a pathetic attempt at humour. Owen Jones is no Jonathan Swift: A Modest Proposal is much better than this tripe. Jon Stewart is a much better leftist satirist and polemicist than this clown. Jones is the flavour of the month Oxbridge educated voice of the people. Perry Anderson once wrote that Marx and Morris would be ashamed at the state of leftist writing today. I can see why

  • He is a commie

  • @commentersareidiots1 the idea that it's a growing drain on the taxpayer is nonsense.

  • so much crap in the comments below, half of it not having nothing to do with public pensions. The cost of public sector pensions is projected to go down by the hutton enquiry, which the government set up, so the idea that it's a growing drain on the taxpayer is . Second, the reason the public sector pays out more in pensions on average isn't because they're "gold plated", it's because there are fewer pension schemes in the private sector, rather than private sector pensions being less lucrative.
