  • The beavertail is that plastic thing on the back that covers the tunnel. Its designed to keep snow in the tunnel against the heat exchangers to cool the engine. It was poor design on skidoos part.because it clogs the tunnel and puts a lot of strain on the sled when you're off trail. You can get a delete kit but be cautious of overheating. The 2003 model has shorter heat exchangers than newer models so many people extend the heat exchangers.

  • High output. Also. Can im thinking about getting one of these can someone please explain to me what the beavertail is/does. And why so many people are putting the delete kit in.
