This is very interesting, hearing them talk about the dynamic of the band. It was sad to hear Stuart talk about Mark like that, but as we all know he returned the fold and carried on. I suppose after nearly 20 years (at that stage) there must have been some massive arguments along the way.

THE BEST BAND EVER!! SAW THEM A FEW TIMES IN MY HOMETOWN OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE THE FIRST BEING 20TH SEPT 1983 CITY HALL AND MET THEM AFTERWARDS I WAS ONLY 17 AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE BLEW ME AWAY SEEN LOADS OF PROFESSIONAL BANDS SINCE BUT NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO BIG COUNTRY!

I was at this convention and they was a lot more to this interview .but even a lot of it was left of the video release . i could of stood there and listened for weeks to my all time hero .what a brilliant man stuart adamson was.sadly missed

Guy with a Manic Street Preachers shirt on - 2:27 ... speaks for itself, as Big Country surely influenced the Manics as much as the Clash did, or perhaps more, though this is seldom referenced. I'd take BC over the Clash any day however...

Hope you don't mind...just recently put this up on my 'facebook' page; because of the 'leonard Cohen' link; his song 'hallelujah' is now at no:1 and 2 in our uk charts...just thought it seemed fitting; as Stuart was a fan.

This is great!Thanks so much for posting!Can see Fife across the Forth from my window and I sometimes think when its raining over Dunfermline that the sky is crying for big Stuart!What a star!What a sad sad loss!
