I get so upset with the world, this piece of music calms my nerves when i am upset, it is a good remedy for people with problems.

Not only is Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata a beautiful piece, but it's also played by Ingolf Dahl, a brilliant composer. 2 great musical minds at work here...what an absolutely beautiful treasure.

Who cares if this has nothing to do with the rest of the movie? This is beautiful.

Utterly delightful. Just bought this DVD from my local library's 'withdrawn' trolley for £1. Nobody had borrowed it since early 2008. Pah...it's all mine now, and I've just sat and watched it with my wife and four-year-old son, and we have all been completely captivated, not only by the wonderful tale of Charlie and his friends, but by this wonderful piece of music and animation.
Can't see myself getting much work done today, now...

BTW, if you're watching this on December 16, happy Beethoven's Birthday!

Schroeder, one of the greatest Beethoven pianists of all time. I mean, just listen to the sound he gets out of that toy piano!

I love this movement (and the entire piece). One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written! Thanks for sharing this!

I love this clip!
I have, since childhood, loved "Pathetique Sonata" because of this clip. It's hauntingly beautiful and the animation suits it perfectly.

I can't believe this clip has so few views. Excellence. How come we can't take a trippy narrative pause every now and then like they did in the 60's films?
