Zarathustra - Psychadelic Rock Band 1996-1999

This was the band i got together & lead singer of back in the day.. Played several venues including the Long Island Music Awards.. Long gone & defunct, was intense though at the time.. The name of the band is derived from my favorite book from Nietzschie "Thus Spake Zarathustra".. At the time i believed through music i could build the "bridge to the overman"... With the musick of Bobby Beusoliel from "Lucifer Rising" as an influence along with Richard Wagner, the music was quite theatric and at time invocational..
One of our more popular songs was "Valley of Death" of which the Lyrics are:

Actually we geared the name more a derivative of the Nietschian philosophical masterpiece "Thus Spake Zarathustra"... But yes, the name is derived from Zoroaster the Persian priest...
