Deer camp cabin December 2007

Just a little tour of inside the cabin we use during the Iowa first shotgun season. I also included a few pictures of the 2 bucks I shot with my muzzleloader on the second day of the 5 day season. One was a very small little fork horn that I thought was a doe at 130 yards and the other one was bigger but still not all that big but it had a messed up antler on it's right side so I decided to get that junk out of the deer herd down where I hunt. Plus they all still ate very good.

Yeah it's pretty cool. I always look forward to going there every year. No electricity, gas lamps, and a wood burning stove. Old school.

Oh no we had beer and bourbon and rye whiskey..........Saturday morning opener is a little rough some times with a hangover and 3 hours of sleep. But totally worth it. lol

prolly wouldnt hurt to put in one or 2 electric lamps but is pretty awsome cabin

But the gas lamps add heat and the cool factor of using 60-70 year old lamps. Plus electric is just too easy.

Nice cabin! Reminds me of my hunting buddies camp up here in New Brunswick, Canada. Gotta love Fall, hunting season and a quiet day in the woods.
