It's good criticism. I don't think it's too harsh. Just because she's a child, she doesn't need to be told she's perfect when she's not. It's better to keep one behind and let them perfect something before moving on.

Im in Grade 2 and ive only been playing for a bit less than a year. My teacher says im a very quick learner. Right now she is teaching me this song because she thinks that i'd sound really good playing it. I might record myself one day and put it on Youtube ;)

in my opinion i thtink its too much pressure for a 5 year old. im in year 8 and i am learniing that piece and catn even memorize it

I've been playing for over 4 years and I'm only on grade 2!!! My first teacherrs didn't really give me the choice though...

you are very good! Jennifer had to play for 2 years and 5 months before she passed grade 5 with distinction in April 2009.

She started when she was 5. BTW, she is not going to take the exam for quite a while yet.
