This clip was put together to show some of the steps in the S2000 production process. The editing is meant to emphasize the amount of hand craftsmanship required to manufacture this vehicle. Seeing the gentleman work methodically on perfecting the shape of the hardtop really puts the price into perspective.

Apologies for the low resolution of this video. The quality is the same as the source files. I hope you all enjoy!

  • this video is horrible. my god, i can't believe HONDA doens't have the funds to make this a kicker video. the shake, the CC, it is too dark, too green, it is like watching The Matrix filmed inside a theater with a home video camera.

  • @alejonin Lol, I feel your pain, man. I'm sure Honda has the funds to have shot the original footage steadier, but it looks like they just got carried away with the overexposure and retro look during post-production. Like bizhan, I'm just glad we have access to the footage at all

  • Is the video supposed to shake like that? Combined with the music I feel dizzy.

  • @TheJoePepper Unfortunately, yes. I think Honda recorded most of the shots without a tripod or some kind of rig. It's especially bad in the run along the production line since the video is sped up.

  • An assembly line video showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship and production process of the fine Japanese roadster that is the Honda S2000. After watching this video, I feel that much more grateful and privileged to own a vehicle whose engineers emphasized perfection in order to produce a well-designed machine and to ensure an exhilarating driving experience that few others can match

  • @alejonin While the video quality certainly isn't the best, we should appreciate that Honda at least recorded any footage at all so we could get an idea of the process the S2000 goes through in the assembly line

  • WOW... Many many years ago my car was there :|

  • This is a compilation from the last production run videos posted on honda.jp. The look and feel of these videos create a mood that black and white cannot achieve.

  • This video puts such a smile on my face. I think I'm gonna go take mine out for a drive now.

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
