On the evening of 13 December, 2008, Monarch of the Seas departs from Nassau, Bahamas. This was taken from her twin sister ship, Majesty of the Seas on an unusual call.

  • I got back from a cruise on the Monarch yesterday, and it never once blasted the horn. I was a bit disappointed.

  • When I sailed aboard her in September, the horn was used a bit (see my videos) but I was surprised that she did not salute when sailing away from the Majesty.

  • wat a beautiful ship!!! my favourtie ship ever!!! nice to see monarch and majesty together. didnt they blast horns to eachother?

  • Unfortunately not! I had my camera all ready to video record as well. I was waiting...

  • We leave on Monarch of the Seas Monday Oct 5th! Woo for first timers!

  • majesty is old radiance i where it's at

  • I went on the majesty november 3-7 2008. I had a blast and would totaly recomend that ship, and also RCCL, but when we departed from miami, i was surprised of how much more of a party the carnival Sensation was having. It didnt matter much to me because i was there for a relaxing gettaway. However, i am going to try Carnival's Liberty on December 5th 2009 to compare. Even if i do have more fun on carnival, it wont keep me from being a repeat RCCL customer!

  • We can't wait!!!!! leavin Sunday.

  • 1031 doesn't exsist

  • i luv the majesty i wuz in 1 of da bigger rooms though>.> i wuz in room 1031

  • i know that they aint 100% identical since their recent refits but i am some what aware that the monarch and majesty have not met since the new build in 1991 in france i just would think that they would salute eachother at least.

  • All the Sovereign class ships aren't the same. (See Deckplans)
