  • Very lively, a bit speedy, but open to interpretation, it jumps out, compared to the standard way of performing bach. But very fast, yet not rushed, one of the most unique playing sound.

  • wow very cool interpretation.

  • Was für eine fantastische Interpretation! Ivry Gitlis hat die beste Interpretation gemacht!

  • This is one of my favorite movements in the entire book. He doesn't play the rondo theme exactly the same once. This alone is reason to hold this up as an example of fine interpretive skills and entertaining rather than boring "classical music". I love this piece when played by others and I love it played like this. Gitlis could be the last great individualist of the violin.

  • mashin

  • An amazing violinist and a unique artist - Ivry Gitlis.

  • Heavy metal Bach! I much prefer Gitlis on the Romantic stuff.
