Khmer King Jayavarman VII wore a Khmer Tattoo an Iron Arrow on HM abdomen.
HM cant be cut, cant be burned and cant be hurt.
Khmer General Army Okhna Krala Hom Kong wore Khmer Tattoo on his whole body.
Khmer warriors wore Khmer Tattoo and
Khmer wrestlers and Khmer boxers wear Khmer Tattoo.
Some Khmer soldiers today wear Khmer Tattoo too.
Some of Khmer ordinary people wear Khmer Tattoo.
Angelina Jolie wears Khmer Tattoo on her left shoulder.
Brad Pitt wears Khmer numerals Tattoo on his abdomen.

Khmer people wear Khmer Yant Mant Akam to protect themselves unlike the westerner wearing Yant (Tattoo) for decoration.

  • The music makes me think back to the good and prosper time of the Mighty Khmer Empire. We have to rebuild the lost status that our ancesters enjoyed for centuries. Long live the Khmer Empire!

  • cool! lmao- i'm planning on a getting a khmer tattoo... haha but i don't have much knowledge about it except that monks and soldiers wear it- for protection- are there any other purposes for wearing khmer tattoos?

  • @rothima yes, rothima-- there is no rules against it per se. It was just that (I think) most Khmer women do not prefer to have it. I have it for a few years now, as a Khmer woman.

  • Khmer tattoo are used in wars and culturally for Khmer people. Khmer Women in the pre-Angkor time were permitted to had cultural mark (tattoo), the word tattoos are just dicaration of arts, but Sak is a believe of powers. you guy are just misunderstanding about the khmer sak youn
