I have pet chinchillas and they're the most lovable little creatures, they're extremely smart, and they love to play, treat them with love and respect and they'll return the favor.

if i were to get a chinchilla, what would i need to do to care for it? i'd love to get one and i need to know when and how to clean it (i get cats a lot, and since they clean themselves, i'm not used to cleaning it), what and when they drink/eat, and other miscellaneous (pardon my spelling) things. if someone could help me i would be very grateful
